An international entity whose mission is to establish unity and strengthen organization between international halal certification agencies. WHFC strives to achieve a worldwide halal standard to adhere to Islamic law by establishing mutual recognition for all members.

The Assessment Institute for Food, Drug and Cosmetic (LPPOM MUI)

Leading Religious Authority of Indonesia

Indonesia's top Muslim clerical body. The division responsible for Halal affairs is formally known The Assessment Institute for Food, Drug and Cosmetic (LPPOM MUI). LPPOM MUI is responsible for fatwas regarding halal in the Republic of Indonesia.

The Department of Islamic Development Malaysia (JAKIM)

Malaysian Federal Agency

A Malaysian Federal agency under the authority of the Prime Minister's Department. JAKIM is responsible for Islamic affairs in Malaysia and halal standards development, legislation development pertinent to Halal certification, and international multilateral halal programs.

Majlis Ugama Islam Singapura (MUIS)

Islamic Religious Council of Singapore

A statutory board in Singapore that looks after the administration and interests of Singapore's Muslim community. The council presides as a regulatory authority on all halal affairs in Singapore.

The lead certification and accreditation authority of the Republic of Turkey responsible for domestic halal certification, international recognition, and promotion of halal globally.

Association of American Halal Certifiers (AAHC)

Lead American Council of Halal Certifiers

A not-for-profit, non-governmental organization (NGO), established to develop American and International Halal institutions that deal with Halal issues such as education, training, research, regulatory procedures, documentation, legalization, translation, accreditation, and standardization.

Leading Muslim Religious Organization

The most representative and influential Muslim religious organization in the Western Cape, recognized locally, nationally and internationally for the religious, cultural and organizational roles it plays in South Africa.

The Central Islamic Council of Thailand (CICOT)

National Halal Authority

The authorized authority for national halal affairs under His Majesty the King of Thailand. CICOT oversees halal standardization, international recognitions, and institutional advisement to the Thai government.

Halal Product Assurance Organizing Body (BPJPH)

Federal Halal Authority of Indonesia

The governmental body under Indonesia's Ministry of Religious Affairs, established in October 2017 charged with halal affairs. BPJPH is now the primary authority in recognizing Foreign Halal Certification Bodies (FHCB).

The Ministry of Public Health (MoPH)

Primary Health Authority

The primary authority responsible for public health matters, including the regulation and certification of halal food products. The MoPH has established comprehensive guidelines and collaborates with recognized Islamic bodies authorized to issue halal and halal slaughtering certificates.

Institut Marocain de Normalisation (IMANOR)

Official Moroccan Standardization Body

The official Moroccan body responsible for standardization and certification. With this accreditation, AHF is the first certification body in the United States to be officially recognized by IMANOR, strengthening commitment to supporting manufacturers and exporters in expanding their reach.
